Haus am Walensee

From certain points of the opposite side, one gets an unforgettable view of the mountains of Churfisten and the Walensee. A massive curtain of stone reflected in the deep and turquoise water. Calm and reverential. Like time is standing still.

Building in that sensitive surrounding directed my work towards a humble and quiet form, one we know, one that protects and one that gives us a embraced feeling. Haus am Walensee stands alongside to the lake on a steep hill. A space of absorption within nature, an ear that constantly listens to this quietness. Akin to a shell from which one can hear and observe this impressive setting of the nature.
